Who's behind Build to Certify
A method, a standard, and the institutions behind them.
Build to Certify
The method: you learn AI by building one working system for your real job, and you're certified only when it works. No videos to watch. A working system to show.
CIAI — Certification Institute for AI
The certifying body. CIAI publishes the Build Standard, assesses every Demo Day, issues certificates, and maintains the public Build Register. Certification is awarded only on demonstration of a working build against the published standard. We certify practice, not attendance — and we do not claim chartered status or government regulation.
London Royal Academy
The parent organisation and contracting body. London Royal Academy delivers professional training and established CIAI as an independent certification layer, led by its CEO — a university professor and author of The Pigeon Strategy, a practical book on working with AI. The conviction behind all of it: the best way to learn AI is not watching videos or reading theory, but building useful AI systems for real work.
